With the beginning of the 21st century, the world's population reached its highest level and urbanization increased. That was different in developing countries. Nearly 90% of the world's urban population lives in cities in developing countries. Meanwhile, cities in Asia and Africa have experienced the highest growth rate of 2.4. The unstable physical expansion of cities is one of the problems of the city and urbanization of the third world in contemporary times. Informal settlements are one of the social challenges of cities that have endangered sustainable urban development and due to the low social and economic status of residents and the insecurity of their formation and bed against environmental hazards, is one of the most vulnerable parts of cities. Are considered. The purpose of this study is to analyze the physical resilience of informal settlements against environmental memories (earthquake),case study: Pakdasht (EnghelabTown). The type of research is based on the applied purpose and based on the nature of the descriptive and analytical subject. The data required for the research were collected from meta-documents and field methods and the Statistics Center of Iran and SPSS and Excel software were used to analyze the research data. The results of field and documentary surveys showed that the situation of Enghelab town in terms of access to urban thoroughfares in the face of a weak crisis, poor access to major urban uses, in terms of fine-grained parts, in terms of infrastructure area 52% below 50 Meters and more than three quarters under 70 meters have infrastructure in terms of housing age 57% over 20 years and 35% over 40 years, in terms of materials 92% brick and iron, in terms of building quality, 9% destructive, 76% maintainable and 15% are newly built According to the results of the research, the town of Enghelab is at a low level in terms of physical resilience in the face of earthquake risk.

Smart urban growth is the adaptation of the current and future physical, social and economic needs of urban communities based on the three concepts of land use mixing, accessibility and density in urban environments and creating places with unique features to reduce urban development costs and citizens' comfort. The purpose of this study is to investigate and assess the status of intelligent growth in the 5th district of Tabriz. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of methodology. To conduct this research, three indicators of intelligent growth including physical management and protection of open spaces, land use mixing and access and transportation network were studied. In the first part of the research, the physical development of the region was assessed during three time periods of 63, 87 and 95. In the second part of the study, the land use mix of the local access network and the public transport fleet of buses, taxis and subways and the quality of the access network were evaluated. Arc Gis and Google Earth software as well as network analyzer tools and models and Z-score were used in the research process. Findings show that in the dimension of land use mixing index, according to the function of region-area, residential, commercial and tourism and tourism uses have had the highest volume of mixing that the final mixing index was evaluated with a high value of 1.6. In the final part, in order to determine the access status and quality of public fleet services through network analysis tools, considering the distance space of Manhattan in a space of 500 meters, the radius of access to communication routes in ArcMap environment was modeled. For taxis, buses and then subways were evaluated as having the best condition. The results show that the management of physical development in the 5th district of Tabriz is associated with fluctuations and its physical development after the 87th decade onwards takes a reproductive process, the most development process of which is outside the region in It was the eastern border.

In today's world, most urban planners and experts are trying to, employing appropriate strategies, resolve such problems as extreme centralization and regional disparities. Paying attention to the development and strengthening of central cities and recognizing their capabilities and potential could solve many problems. Viewed hence, cognizant of the central cities capabilities and potential and formulating the corollary objectives and planning, this study is an attempt to highlight the necessity of calling attention to these cities in order to regularize urban areas in question. As an applied, developmental study, the method is descriptive. Elaborating on the role and importance of central cities in urban network, library and archival study is drawn on to investigate the current potential of and challenges to Shahriar Country as a middle city, and to outline, referring to expert view, its goals and ways to achieve them. To examine the subject in question, Meta- SWOT software program is used. Examining the situation and identifying and designating the city capabilities and potential and its regional competitors as well, it was found that Shahriar of more proper distance than metropolises of Tehran and Alborz is the most important advantage of the city; appropriate communication infrastructures and affordable housing are also of the highest strategic fit. On the other hand, the parameters including improvement and coordination of higher order projects and an increase of private sector investment have the highest influence, and more proper distance than Tehran and Alborz and the business environment development in the county are of the highest degree of necessity.
